Mares Introduces New Graph-Flex Wetsuit Collection

MARES is excited to introduce the new Graph-FLEX wetsuit. The world’s first SCUBA diving wetsuit to incorporate Graphene technology.

Graphene is an exciting material that is changing the world. Especially since the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics went to Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, who first isolated Graphene.

Graphene, often referred to as the ‘miracle’ fiber, is a single layer of carbon atoms bonded together in a honeycomb – like pattern (FIG.1). When bonded together the graphene fiber offers unique characteristics; flexibility, durability, heat retention, strength and are used by other industries in their high end products This technology is game-changing for diving wetsuit warmth, performance, function, and comfort.

Mares is the first to launch this unique fiber integrated into a SCUBA wetsuit. Graphene Fibers woven into the inner lining help retain heat better than any other material currently on the market.(FIG.2)
Making this one of the warmest wetsuits ever created.(FIG.3) Divers who have worn the suit raved about its warmth and comfort:

“The 5mm suit is as warm as or warmer than the 7mm suit I currently own, but stretched like a 3mm!”

“The Graph-flex feels like a heated blanket”

“The warmest wetsuit I have ever dove”

This suit combines innovative technology with an affordable price, providing divers with a radically warm and comfortable SCUBA wetsuit that competitors will have trouble matching.

New GRAPHENE Technology = Warmest SCUBA Wetsuit Versatile Flexible material, easy donning and doffing Available in 3mm, 5mm and 7mm thicknesses Full suit with rear zipper Available in Men’s size S – 3XL & Women’s size 4 – 16
