IADP Associate Membership

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is the entry paid membership of the International Association of Dive Professionals. It is designed for supporters, volunteers, contributors, students, divers, and industry-connected individuals who want to actively support the development of an independent professional body for the diving sector.

Associate Members help strengthen the foundation of the IADP and support its work in professional representation, industry development, marine restoration, education, communication, and long-term community building.

Who this membership is for

• Supporters of the IADP mission
• Volunteers and future contributors
• Divers and students interested in the professional diving sector
• People connected to diving, marine tourism, conservation, training, operations, or support services
• Individuals who want to support independent representation for dive professionals

Included

• Associate Member status within the IADP structure
• Access to member-level updates and selected internal communications
• Eligibility to volunteer for IADP activities, subject to role approval
• Access to selected member resources as they become available
• Participation in the wider TheDiveProfessional community
• Ability to upgrade to another membership category when eligible

Important notes

• Associate Membership does not automatically grant professional status
• Associate Members do not represent the IADP unless formally appointed
• Volunteer access is subject to approval, role assignment, and internal rules
• All members must follow the IADP Membership Terms, Ethics Code, and portal rules
