Make history and become part of the first class of PSS instructors in North America
If you are a dive leader or instructor who believes the needs of the student must drive the education process, then PSS Worldwide is the agency for you. From its EVO training system to the “flipped teaching” concept, PSS is today’s innovators in dive training and education.
Any certified dive leader from a RSTC recognized training agency is qualified to attend one of the two PSS Worldwide crossover courses being held in conjunction with DEMA on November 11 or November 17. Pre-registration is required, and applications are located at ww.pssww.org/DEMAxover.
“At PSS Worldwide we feel there is no place for ego or an omnipotent diving guru mentality by an instructor or dive leader,” said Giuseppe Minopoli, President, PSS Worldwide. “Our instructors are mentors who serve to not only teach diving but guide students in a life-long pursuit of fun and enjoyment.”
PSS Worldwide training and education in focused solely on the needs of the student. Its interactive e-learning philosophy allows for instructor-student and student-instructor engagement in a variety of learning settings and platforms. PSS strongly believes it is more important to train a few divers well, as opposed to a lot of divers marginally.
“We are driven by our students, not by profit margins, manufacturers or boards,” added Minopoli. “This means we listen to our instructors and dive centers to quickly and effectively adjust our training programs to meet the needs and expectations of our most valuable asset – the student- or as we refer to them, the #PSSPeople.”
A special DEMA crossover rate of $150 includes all electronic training materials, certification fees, as well as leadership dues for the remainder of 2019 and 2020! This introductory crossover offer is only available during the week of DEMA 2019 for training conducted at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando located at 9000 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. After DEMA, interested dive leaders or facilities wishing to affiliate with PSS Worldwide must coordinate their training requirements with the training manager for North American and Caribbean operations, who will be selected and announced in the coming weeks.
PSS Worldwide will also hold two informational sessions at DEMA on Wednesday, November 13 at 3:00 PM, in room W304A, or Friday, November 15, at 11:00 AM in room W304D.
DEMA attendees are encouraged to stop by booth #2770 to learn more about the PSS Worldwide training programs and the evolution of dive education and training.
