The Diver Medic has an exciting Remote Medicine workshop running at DEMA on Friday 14th November at 3 pm.  Room W304G

This is a hands-on 45min workshop that is fun and interactive on how to safely perform basic surgical procedures in a remote setting.

Apart from using Tourniquets, wound packing and Hemostatic dressings. We will show you how to close a viable wound with glue and sutures


What will we cover:

The Wound Stitch it,  Glue it or Leave it Pain control Cleaning and irrigation Suture material and size of the needle Type of Suture Suture Removal

Who can join – Anyone who travels to remote areas or is wanting to update their skills.  Over 18 years only. Limited places available.
