Leisure Pro, one of the largest scuba diving and snorkeling equipment retail sites, today announced a product buy-back program for professional dive shops. Leisure Pro will purchase unwanted, discontinued or open box scuba equipment from any dive shop in need of cash.
“Due to the pandemic, many small businesses in the scuba community are in need of cash to ensure they don’t permanently close their doors,” said Charlie Kraus, Head of Used/Trade Department of Leisure Pro. “Leisure Pro is committed to helping professional dive shops by offering a buy-back program for scuba equipment they don’t currently need, both new and used or rental items.”
Leisure Pro will buy back regulators, octopuses, gauges/computers, and BCD’s. New items must be a brand name (ScubaPro, Mares, Oceanic, Atomic, etc.) and should not be older than five years. Used and rental items should be in good working condition and not be older than 10 years.
Leisure Pro will happily email interested shops a prepaid, insured UPS shipping label to send in their equipment at no expense.
A Leisure Pro agent will contact you promptly once the evaluation has been completed with an honest and fair buy-back offer. If the offer is accepted, there are two options for payment: a check in the mail, or credit that can immediately be used towards any Leisure Pro purchase. If a deal is not made, the merchandise will be returned, fully insured, at Leisure Pro’s expense.
